Pinterest Challenge Super Bowl

If you’re stopping by from Our Southern Home, doesn’t Christy’s chili look amazing? I can’t wait to try her recipe!

This is the dip for all the dill pickle lovers out there! With a cream cheese base and plenty of dill flavor, this delicious tangy dip is perfect for tailgating, or serving on your game day party table.

Simple Ingredients

This creamy dill pickle dip is made with simple ingredients that you may already have on hand.

I used dill pickles we had in our fridge: Grillo’s pickles from Costco, and a small bag of OH SNAP! Just use whatever kind of pickles you prefer. I love making homemade refrigerator pickles in the summer, so I plan to try this recipe again when my cucumbers are ready.

If you like a bit more heat to your dip, try using some spicy dill pickles, or add a bit of your favorite hot sauce. There’s lots of room to customize with this dip.

Dried dill weed is fine, but you could also use fresh dill for an even brighter flavor.

Also, feel free to switch up your sour cream and cream cheese for either the light or the full-fat versions; this dip is great either way!

This creamy dill pickle dip is the perfect quick & easy recipe to whip up for the big game. It comes together in a matter of minutes, using simple ingredients you likely already have. It's a crowd-pleaser!

Prep Time 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup finely diced dill pickles
  • 1 tablespoons dill weed
  • 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese (1 block)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

Instructions

Mix all ingredients together until smooth.

Add an extra tablespoon or two of pickle juice if you prefer a thinner consistency.

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to blend flavors before serving

Assembling the dip couldn’t be easier; just mix all the ingredients together until smooth. I used my stand mixer, but you could also mix by hand if you prefer.

Top the finished dip with a few extra chopped pickles and a sprinkle of dill weed, before letting it chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes or so. If you’re in a hurry, it’s fine to serve immediately, but a little time in the fridge helps bring all the flavors together even more.

Dipper Ideas

pretzel things for Creamy Dill Pickle Dip Recipe [Quick & Easy!]

I served this dip with some multi-grain crackers and some pretzel slims for Trader Joe’s, but there are so many great options that would work well for this creamy dip:

  • pretzles or pretzel thins
  • tortilla chips or corn chips
  • crackers
  • pita chips
  • carrots & celery sticks
  • even whole dill pickle spears if you’re a super dill pickle fan! No judgment at all…

  1. Pickles are my weakness and this is right up my alley. Thanks for sharing on SSPS, I hope to see you again next when I feature your post.

  2. I love this idea for pickle dip, Niky! I just bought some whole grain crackers at Costco last weekend. Hubby loves dill pickles so this would be a perfect recipe to make for weekend snacking when he gets home from this business trip. YUM!!! Thank you!

  3. Dill is my absolute favorite flavor in anything! And crazy enough, I’ve never made a dip with it. It’s always in our tuna salad, chicken salad, chicken diaper ( you’d have to see it – LOL) so I’m looking forward to adding this to our game day buffet! Thank you for joining us! pinned

  4. This sounds wonderful Niky! I think this is a must for my new son’s 40th surprise birthday party — he is the biggest pickle lover I’ve ever known!
