Today is the final installment in the fun Let’s Get Festive Christmas Blog Hop hosted by Rachelle from My Hubbard Home. The topic is Christmas Home Tours and I’m here to share with you my favorite cozy Christmas decor around my office.

I don’t have my whole house decorated for Christmas yet. With the switch to online learning, teaching from home has taken the majority of my energy and time for now. But, since I’m spending 8+ hours per day in my home office now, I did manage to add a few cozy Christmas decor touches in here.
Balsam Candle
I’ve been lighting this Farmhouse Fresh Balsam Fir & Oak candle while I work. Both the wintery scent, plus the flickering light add to my cozy workspace.

I decorated my office in neutral tones, because I find it very serene, so I kept my small Christmas touches in here in line with the neutral decor.
I am really enjoying working in this space, whether it be on my blog, or for school, because it has such a peaceful vibe.
Christmas Tree with Fairy Lights

I added this little tree in the corner. It sits on a vintage step stool that was my mom’s, and I’ve decorated it with my Ribbon Angel Ornaments, and twinkling fairy lights.
Vintage Pastry Fork Ornaments

These vintage pastry forks from MS Ltd in Sheffield, England are one of the things I ended up with from my parent’s things. I believe that they belonged to my grandmother Gertie whose farm I spent a lot of time on as a child, because they were in the same box as other things that were Gertie’s.
In doing some research, I discovered that they were part of an Around the World Shoppers Club from the 1940s and 50s. I found this really cute blog post with some good information about these pastry forks.
Rather than let these adorable little forks continue to hide, packed away in a box, I decided to use them on my little office tree for a more vintage vibe. I didn’t want to permanently alter them, however, so I simply tied a ribbon around them, and attached a string to the top for hanging.

Don’t they look cute hanging on my little tree? 💕 Now I can enjoy them for the next month or so, before removing the ribbons and tucking them safely back in their original box.
Neutral Colored Winter Scene Canvas

For another cozy Christmas touch, I hung up this winter scene canvas with adorable deer. The colors work perfectly in my office.
Vintage Urn with Greenery & Lights

I removed the dried hydrangeas from my antique urn, and replaced them with some greenery, more fairy lights, and this sweet little owl floral pick I got at Hobby Lobby. Isn’t he the cutest?

He reminds of the the owl they found in the Rockefeller Christmas tree! Did you guys see that story this week?

A Warm Blanket

Because I get started working in here pretty early, it can be chilly. I keep this blanket that was my mom’s draped over my chair, which is perfect for laying across my lap as needed.
A Hidden Away TV

My husband recently ordered and set up this small TV in my office armoire. On Saturday morning, I enjoyed sipping my coffee and writing my blog post with a Hallmark Christmas movie on in the background. 🎄☕️☃️
I’ve got 5 days off for the Thanksgiving break, so I plan to get the rest of my Christmas decor set up. In the meantime, I’m focusing on small Christmas touches here and there…

I love all of the Christmas touches you have added to your home office! It looks like such a cozy space to work. I love how you used your sweet grandmother’s vintage forks as tree decorations. It is so creative and meaningful! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
I love your cozy Christmas decor and the neutral tones are my favorite. Those pastry forks on the tree done with the ribbon was the perfect touch.
It was such a treat to be on the tour with you. Happy Holidays.
Love all of the holiday touches that you added to the room. The pastry forks are a family treasure, and using them as you did was a smart idea.
How sweet that your hubby set the tv up for you. Having to teach vie computer must be so stressful, Niky, and I’m happy that you have a calming work space and some fun Hallmark movies in the background.
Thanks once more for hopping with me. And a Merry Christmas to you!

I am so ready for the Christmas festivities. With the year we have all had to deal with, I am determined to make this Christmas an extra special celebration at home.
I love your cozy touches and what a beautiful view from your desk. 🙂
Your office gives me the itch to paint and redecorate! I honestly hate it in here in my office. We have 2 rooms in our house that are still have dog puke gold walls and this is one of them. And since seeing and learning more about you and your blog, I think we are secret soul sisters. We are drawn to the same vintage type things! Like hanging vintage forks on Christmas trees. I do that almost every year and will again this time too. I love that look and your office tree is adorable. It’s nice to know you got those from your grandmother/parents. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Thanksgiving break and thanks again for linking up to Farmhouse Friday! You are greatly appreciated. 🙂
I have been in love with your blog for quite some time–always so many inspiring posts and decorating ideas that make me swoon! 😂 I agree, we might just be soul sisters. 💕
For the first two years after we moved in to this house, the office was really just a “catch-all” for mail and paperwork. Then, like so many other people, because of the pandemic, I suddenly found myself needing a dedicated space to work from home. Giving this space a make-over gave me a space to teach online, a place to work on my blog, plus a place to display several of my cherished items from my mom. My husband has a gym and a bar in the basement where he displays all his sports memorabilia, so I enjoyed making this space more personal for me. I’m so glad you liked it, too. I hope that your office will get a chance to get some lovely vitnage touches in the future, because you are so talented! 🙂
Happy Friday!
I love what you’ve done so far and the desert forks turned into ornaments on the tiny tree is something that I would never think of, but so magical! I thought of the Rockefeller owl as soon as I saw yours too!
Your office looks so warm and welcoming, and I am sure your sweet candle adds a wonderful holiday scent to your space. I am so envious of your little TV in your work space. I would love to have those Christmas movies playing in the background as I work on my computer. Have a happy holiday season!
