This little chippy green chair spring vignette is an easy way to add spring vibes to your home with just a few simple items.
Welcome to another fun Pinterest Challenge, hosted by Cindy from County Road 407!
If you’re stopping by from French Ethereal, welcome! Barbara’s spring chair decor ideas are so lovely. I’m always inspired by the designs she creates.
If you haven’t heard about the Pinterest Challenge before, here’s how it works: Several different bloggers take the same photo and create something similar that will work in their own homes, and with their own style.
It’s so fun to see all the different interpretations inspired by the same photo!

This month’s gorgeous inspiration photo is from ANDERSON + GRANT. It’s a simple, yet beautiful way to add a spring touch to your home in seconds.

With nothing more than a chair, a basket of tulips, a bunny, and a woven throw, Jamie created a beautiful spring vignette. I love designs that are this simple, don’t you?
When I first saw Jamie’s design, I knew this was a great opportunity to use the little vintage child’s chair that used to be my mom’s.
I used it for Easter a couple of years ago, but I was excited to decorate it for spring this time.
Chippy Green Chair Spring Vignette

Just like the spring chair from ANDERSON + GRANT, my vignette uses only a few simple items.
Yellow faux tulips work so nicely with the green of the chair. I didn’t want a basket to overwhelm the smaller size of this child-size chair, so instead, I wrapped the tulips in some burlap for a similar texture.

I used a smaller set of antique bunnies that were a better size for this little chair and then draped a faux vintage seed garland across the back for a pop of spring colors.

Faux tulips work so well for displays like this.
I have these tulips in a variety of colors and they look so authentic. They are called “real touch” and they’re much more realistic than many artificial flowers.
Real tulips are one of my favorite flowers and I like to have them in the house during spring as well, but faux flowers are ideal for designs like this where they can’t be kept in water.
As I experimented with my design, I decided to swap out the pair of white rabbits for this little distressed brown bunny.

I couldn’t decide which version I liked better. Which do you prefer?
