My Great Amazon Prime Finds for the Month
You guys, I’m sooooo ready to get outside in the garden and flower beds! All my spring bulbs are poking up, and my perennials all have buds! I like to take a daily stroll around the property and check on all my plant babies, and these garden clogs will be perfect for that. I can slip them on and off easily at the door, they are waterproof, and can easily be rinsed under the hose if they get muddy. Bring on gardening season!
Last year, I kept my garden plan on a clipboard with hand drawn sketches and notes of what we planted in our Deer-Proof, Raised Bed Garden. I decided this year I’d like a more portable journal where I can keep multiple year plans for comparison. I’m excited to give this new journal a try!
Okay, these sandals. They are my absolute favorite sandals of all time. If you need shoes that are both stylish and comfortable, you should check out Vionic. I have several different styles from Vionic, but this particular Karina style is my all-time favorite. I’ve re-purchased the black ones twice after getting about 2 years of nearly everyday wear from them in the summer, and just bought them again in the white.
Yellow Box Sandals are my go-to sandals for the beach, a picnic, a neighborhood walk–anytime I’m not necessarily needing to be on my feet for a long time, and don’t want to mess up my nicer, more expensive sandals. Yellow Box sandals come in many, many different colors and patterns, and still have a nice thick sole for comfort at a reasonable price.
I love this sheer finishing powder from IT Cosmetics. It’s perfect when you just need a quick brush of powder to take away shine and even out your skin tone a bit. Plus, it’s nice and light for summer and doesn’t leave makeup on my mask, which is a bonus.
Did you know you can use your health flex account to buy sunscreen? I didn’t! 🤷🏼♀️ Apparently, I didn’t spend all my flex dollars last year, and the human resources department sent me a friendly reminder that there was a grace period to either “use ’em or lose ’em” by the end of March. Fortunately, they also included a pdf file of what qualified, and sunscreen was on the list! I had no idea, but I stocked up for the summer rather than let those dollars go to waste.
This Neutrogena Sunscreen has been my fave for years. It’s light, nongreasy, doesn’t have a strong smell, and works great. It comes in SPF all the way up to 100+.
I also got the lotion especially for faces. I’m picky about things that feel greasy or heavy on my skin, but I really like this Ultra Sheer Face sunscreen. It’s perfect for the beach, or lots of time spent outdoors.
I have these indoor flameless candles inside my house, but I recently bought some outdoor ones for my screened porch and front porch. I love the warm glow and ambiance they add to our outdoor spaces, and I especially love that they have a timer and remote. Plus, you can set them to flicker like a real candle, or stay on with a solid light. Now that’s it’s warming up, I’m getting ready to give our much-used outdoor spaces a refresh. These candles will be perfect.
I’m so excited to be able to have a small family dinner for Easter this year! The table cloth and faux champagne roses below were the only things purchased for my tablescape with vintage china. You can see it HERE.
That’s it! What have you been Priming lately? I’d love to hear about it in the comments if you want to share!
I’d be so grateful if you’d support The House on Silverado by subscribing via email in the box on this page.
