15 Fun Spring Finds for Your Home to usher in spring, both inside and out. Ideas for home decor, porch, and patio!
I’m craving spring so badly.
Here in Iowa, we’ve been getting teased with little tastes of warmer weather, only to be rudely reminded by Mother Nature that spring is not quite here yet.
In fact, we have some snowflakes and “mixed precipitation” in the forecast still this week. 🙁
So, to soothe myself with thoughts of the nicer weather that I know is on its way…. eventually, I’ve put together some of my favorite spring finds to brighten up your home (and your mood) at this time of year.

15 Fun Spring Finds for Your Home
I love being outdoors.
I wait all winter long for the weather to turn warm enough to be outside again, and when it finally, finally arrives, I spend every possible minute that I can outside.
That means I prioritize our outdoor spaces just as much as our indoor ones.
I furnish and decorate the front porch, the back deck, and the three-season porch like they are true living spaces because in the spring, summer, and fall, we really do use them more than the inside spaces.
1. Wicker Egg Patio Chairs
My daughter and son-in-law bought these wicker egg chairs last summer. Not only are they fun, but they are also oversized and comfy!
Even the baby approves!
These chairs are fun, and cozy, and make sitting out on your own patio feel extra special. Can you imagine getting cozy with a good book and a hot cup of coffee in one of these chairs? Or maybe a cocktail?
2. Fire Table
We love using our fire table out on the covered deck. Even if the weather isn’t ideal, we can stay cozy outside with this little bit of added warmth.
Plus, it’s so nice for family time or date night. Add a charcuterie tray or a couple of fun cocktails, and it’s almost like being on vacation at home!
3. Porch Swing
A porch swing just begs you to come sit, swing, and relax, don’t you think? We have two!
When I was a child, my grandmother lived in a big white American Four Square home with a front porch, and of course, a porch swing.
In my previous home, there was no front porch, so we converted the kids’ old swing set into an A-frame to hold a porch swing in the backyard. Of course, I couldn’t leave it behind when we moved, so we still have that one out in the back.
But, when we were building our current home, I made sure we designed it with a front porch big enough for…. you guessed it…. a porch swing!
I love sitting on the porch swing, sipping a cup of hot coffee or a glass of iced tea. Relaxation at its best.
4. Outdoor Rockers
This year, we added two big rocking chairs on the front porch, too. They are comfy, and durable, and the gray and white are such a pretty color combo.
I love that we have plenty of options for outdoor seating. We can follow the sun or shade as needed.

5. Front Door Decor
It’s so easy to make the front of your house pretty for spring.
A colorful spring wreath on the door, a new rug or welcome mat, a lantern or two for looks, but also to create a cozy ambiance in the evening, and you’re all set!
You can see how I decorated my Spring Front Porch here, including the DIY Reversible Door Sign that I made.

6. Outdoor Dining
We love having Happy Hour at Home outside whenever the weather is nice. In fact, it might be one of my favorite things!
A few simple serving pieces, a comfy place to sit, and you’re all set.
Who needs a crowded, overpriced restaurant when you can create your own lovely outdoor dining space easily at home?
7. Picnic Backpacks & Baskets
I love our outdoor space at home, but I also love a good picnic. In fact, it’s one of my favorite summer things to do.
Pack some lunch, or charcuterie, a bottle of wine, and find a lovely park or lake and enjoy the new view!

8. New Bedding
It’s that time of year when I’m shifting between our cozy winter bedding and our lighter bedding for warmer weather.
During the colder months, I layer the bed with fuzzy sheets, a quilt, and a down comforter with my favorite white duvet.
However, when the weather warms up, I generally replace the down comforter with a lighter blanket layered at the bottom of the bed over the quilt.
My new favorite blanket is the 365 blanket from Muslin Comfort! It’s temperature-regulating, breathable, and made from 100% muslin cotton.
I ordered it in the prettiest fresh white shade, but it comes in several other colors as well. It’s the perfect spring blanket for keeping you cozy without being too heavy.
If you want to give it a try, you can use my code, house15, for an extra 15% off sitewide.
I also trade out the fuzzy sheets for some luxurious, soft cotton sheets, that are perfect for warm spring nights. My current favorites are linked below.
9. Luxury Bed Pillows
Great pillows are a must, and each spring I like to freshen ours up. Any that have gotten too flat, I toss and add some new fluffy and comfy replacements.
These luxury hotel cooling gel pillows are the ones we have now, and I love them! They are so easy to “re-fluff” with a simple tumble in the dryer.

10. New Rugs
Changing up the rugs in your home can have a big impact!
I’ve had great luck with finding lovely, durable rugs on Amazon. I’ve purchased rugs of all sizes, from runners to full-room-sized rugs.
I’m always amazed at how something as simple as a fresh, new rug can completely change the look and feel of a room.

11. Seasonal and Custom Signs
A new canvas print is another great way to revive your space for spring!
I worked with Retro Reverence Art to create this sign for my bathroom. They have all kinds of beautiful, seasonal art that you can customize for any room in your house.
I love real plants and fresh flowers, but faux flowers have come a long way in recent years.
Sometimes it’s hard to tell they aren’t real!
Plus, I have to admit that I do enjoy the ease of care. 😂
I love a good candle, especially seasonal candles.
My current favorite is THIS Aloe and Bergamot candle from Target!
It comes in a pretty green jar that is perfect for spring, and the scent is so fresh and clean.

14. Accent Pillows
Can there be anything more simple than swapping out accent pillows as the seasons and holidays change?
I have four pillow inserts that get used over and over again all year long because I simply change the zippered covers.
It’s a great way to save space and money, while instantly updating your spaces!

15. Lanterns & Lighting
I love lanterns for the style they add to my home decor, but also for the cozy accent lighting they provide.
I use them inside my house, and for all of our outdoor spaces as well.
I fill them with indoor and outdoor flameless candles or fairy lights on a timer, and they come on and off automatically to instantly create cozy spaces.

Niky, what great finds. I think I need to get myself one of those egg chairs. It looks so inviting and comfy.

Thanks for stopping by, Paula. The egg chairs are fun and comfy!
I enjoyed seeing your spring finds and pretty home decor. Love the rocking chairs! Thanks for sharing at the #HomeMattersParty.
Yes to florals! They make anything look so fresh and just inviting. We need a new rug in our living room. Ours seem to keep moving on one side when we walk on it, vacuum and it is very frustrating. One day I will get an egg chair. I told my hubby about it but seems like we can’t figure out where I would put it. 🙁 Happy Friday!
